Direct Mail Appeal (DMA) |
Twice each year, Medicare launches a Direct Mail Appeal (DMA) to people from all
walks of life around the country. You may have received this mail from us, which
basically consists of a letter from Medicare to you, a letter from one of our patients
and a DMA form.
In MediCare's letter to you, we inform you of latest updates at Medicare including
some of our costs, expenditures and happenings at our centres. We include an attachment
of the story of one of our patients to enable others to get a better understanding
of what our patients's lives are like and what they go through. We hope that by reading
their story others will understand why our work is crucial and how your contributions,
however small, make a big difference in their lives. The mail contains a form encouraging
recipients to donate either one time or monthly which is deductible from their salary
or by credit card.
Please read our current DMA. You may download and print off the form or attachments
at the link below. If you would like one mailed to you, a family member or a friend,

Autodebit |
We understand how valuable your time is
to you so we have made it so very convenient for you to be able to donate by signing
up for our monthly auto debit programme.
Autodebit Options
Specify any amount that you wish to charge to your credit card, the donation will
then be reflected in your monthly statement.
There is also a direct debit option for those who hold Maybank or RHB bank accounts.
For payroll staff, you can also choose to contribute from your monthly salary, where
the amount you specify will be deducted from your RHB bank or Maybank salary account.
For all three auto debit options, a tax exemption receipt will be issued to you
on the accumulated amount donated at the end of the year.
